I was in my writing class a few weeks ago, this thread made me remember what i saw on my desk.

About halfway through the class I take my book off to set behind me, grabbing another book. When i turn back around to the now empty desktop, i see a pencil sketch of phoenix wright and miles edgeworth going in for a kiss. Phoenix was blushing.

Not the most expected surprise. It was REALLY well drawn, too.

>It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP.

Of course, you stopped doing that years ago. He still runs alongside you, though. You just never bother to look for him anymore.

Left in a telephone booth: If you leave within 5 feet of this telephone box a 30 second timer will start. Once it reaches zero a carfully placed charge will explode. Killing every one on this block, can you be responsble for the deaths of others? If you do stay within a 5 foot radius of this telephone booth a charge placed at the bottom of this boot will explode killing you. Now you are faced with a choice.
The choice to live or the choice to take the lives around you. You have one hour.

(Placed in book in bookstore.)

Stop.
I have hacked the store's cameras.
By the time you have read to this point,
I will have found your identity.
I now have your adress and personal information.
By the time you get home, I will have every website you have ever visited. Every call you ever made. Soon after that, I will have photos of your first kiss.
If you don't want this information plastered all over town, here is what you must do. Read the back of the note. (The back has the rules of "the Game")
Slip this note back in the book.
Put the book back EXACTLY where you found it.
Yell out loud, "I lost THE GAME".
Go home.

[at the top of the paper]
Please don't read any further. Please put this note down and go about your business. There is nothing to gain but so much for me to lose. I'm begging you, if there is any mercy in your heart to not finish reading, for I have nothing to say you truly want to hear.

You could just put this paper down. There is no funny joke, or interesting point made. Just a lot of words. So could you please find it in yourself to disobey your curiosity. Just let me be here.

You don't know what you are doing, that I forgive. Listen to me carefully. I am a slave to wandering eyes.

The writing will not stop until you stop reading, so you won't be able to finish this note. Even if I did know something you wanted to hear, I couldn't explain it on just this paper.

I don't have much space left. Please leave I don[no more space on the paper]

I used this one at a Best Buy nearby (only I replaced 'Rape' with 'Attempted Murder' - I wanted to freak people out, not offend them). I placed it on a keyboard of a computer they were displaying. An employee noticed it, did a double take, and began reading.

She was visually disturbed, and took the note to another employee, who laughed and begain passing it around to other workers, who also got a kick out of it.

I got lulz, and the Best Buy employees got lulz. Win all around!

On a note taped to the hood of someone's car: "Hello *insert model/brand of car here* owner."

Might not be scary but they'll look around to see who wrote it. Also, extra points if it's a PT Cruiser--those fuckers get extremely butthurt about ANYTHING touching their car.

I left a pretty good one in the local library. I just walked around until I found the oldest book I could wear I stuck the note in it.

I just used a small strip of paper, dyed it in tea and wrote in red ink "She never gave me her love, so I took it".
