That's not entirely possible sometimes. People create things in their minds and seek to do things that will 'prove' these ideas. As with the show, there may be numerous explanations for an event. The producers of the show are seeking to entertain, not provide factual documentation of events. It is almost certain that they embellish things as well as stage things for entertainment value. Proving the way they did so might not always be so easy.
