You've got it wrong. They don't physically attack you, they simply send you back in time and consume the energy of the actions you never did. You're allowed to live out the rest of your days in peace. They're the nicest killers in the universe.

Creepypasta. Supposedly there are other SCPs for other objects presumably being held by the same organisation, but apart from one that was written a day or so ago, I've not seen any.

No, I'm sure he's got it right. That's exactly the copypasta I was looking for.

Thanks Anonymous, you have delivered.

Also, if anyone has more info on that specific pasta or anything of an equally creepy nature, don't hesitate to post.

I have very specific pasta.

It's all bunk.

The piece in question is just that:

An art piece.

Someone surely has the link. Ask around for people that aren't totally fucking gullible.

Googling "SCP-173 is animate extremely hostile" will get you a blog which has a little more data. I don't think it adds much to it, though. It's this:

USAF File: C203-92b
Date: Jun 7, 1952

Filed by: Capt. Henry Milan
----

Item found outside of Yuma, Arizona on March 24th.

During regular training exercises, Corporal Ben Flynn and his squadron came across an strange statue in an empty installation set to be used for future bombing run training. The statue is approximately seven feet tall and human in form. The arms and legs are disproportionate to the head and torso, resembling a fetus. Strange colouration was noted on the face of the statue and it was posed against on of the inner walls of the building. Upon further inspection, Corporal Flynn noted that the statue is composed of mostly cement and is possibly reinforced with steel rebar. It is likely man-made.

Further investigation of the surrounding area yielded no other signs of transportation for the statue other that misshapen foot prints. It is likely that the statue was placed there by locals looking to create a stir or possibly protest the war. Private Allen Benson took the supplied photograph to document the area in the event that an investigation to the security of the training area is to take place.

Private Benson reported that he heard the sound of heavy scraping within the building shortly after he left. This prompted a search of the other rooms in case any civilians may have still been in the building but were undetected. The area was given an "all clear" by the squad commander and the statue was left in the building. It was deemed necessary that on June 9th, a final morning inspection of the building will be conducted before it is demolished to make certain that no civilians have returned to the area and to ensure no lives are lost.

You're right. I can't really front that.

My instinct is to seek out the things that really are unexplained, and I guess seeing others wonder about things which I already know for sure are false, I instinctually try to correct it.

I should really stop that and let the others make the journey themselves.

Item#: SCP-086
Special containment procedures: Item SCP-086 is stored in a heavily soundproofed room, isolated from the rest of the facility by an airlock.
As there is some leakage from SCP-086, the surrounding area is also cordoned off. Object is currently safe, provided no unprotected personnel enter the containment zone, so handling instructions are only provided for the possibility of a security breach, or if needing to move SCP-086.
Unprotected personnel who enter the containment zone should be removed from the area as soon as possible. If they return, or show signs of being compromised by SCP-086, they must be terminated; warnings of these consequences must be displayed prominently around the containment zone.

Description: SCP-086 appears to be a regular tetrahedron approximately 25cm on each side. It constantly emits sounds
described as whispering by survivors of its effects, though in no known language.
These sounds are capable of a wide range of effects on humans, including the creation of psychosis or a mindlessly obedient state. Experiments to replicate its abilities by matching the generated frequencies, however, have failed.
All personnel who work with SCP-086 should, manpower permitting, be completely deaf. They are also required to equip provided ear defenders and an antisound generator. Before entering SCP-086's chamber, a supervisor should check that all agents are unable to hear sounds at approximately 140dB. The recommended method is to fire a blank behind them, and to watch for signs of surprise.
Agents entering the chamber should work in a group of five or more, and rehearse their actions in a separate, dummy chamber. Any deviation from this trial run in the real chamber is to be treated as a sign of falling under SCP-086's control, and if they do not heed signals to exit immediately, the agent should be terminated.

Additional notes:
Those with level 2 security clearance or above should also see document #86-1.

Document #86-1: SCP-086 additional data

Anyone who has entered the containment zone should be watched very carefully; our data reports that most people are drawn in by the whispers, and those that aren't may be already under the Object's control and carrying out its will.

The equipment provided to the grunts includes an explosive charge in the headset, set to trigger if they are the last one left alive in the room. SCP-086 almost overwhelmed the lone deaf agent who prevented its escape in the first place, so personnel cannot be trusted if left alone with it. Object is capable of adapting its whispers to act through bodily vibrations, and can generate far stronger effects on a single target.

The explosive charge will destroy the brain and hearing system when triggered. No other form of termination will ensure SCP-086 cannot control what is left behind.

Item#: SCP-232

Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-232 is to be kept lit at all times. No shadows should be allowed to form in the presence of this object. Should one of the redundant light bulbs burn out, a two agent team may enter to replace the bulb, one to change the bulb and one to carry the lamp to prevent shadows from occuring behind the agent changing the bulb. The lamp is stored in the cabinet outside the room, and must be inspected before each use.
Description: Moved to Site19 5/7/1997. Origin is suspected to be of Sumerian design. SCP-232 is a statue of the goddess Ereshkigal, being offered a liver by what is assumed to be an utukku, or Sumerian demon. When SCP-232 is in the presence of slight shadows, agents may note the sensation of claws dragging lightly against or through their skin. In the presence of heavy shadows, light scratches to deep gouges may appear. The eyes of the statue have been noted to follow teams as they enter.

Blood and viscera left in the presence of the statue have been noted to inexplicably vanish before they may be cleaned, so sanitation staff is not required in the event of activity. Class 2 hazardous containment procedures should be maintained in the event of activity.

In the event of complete power failure, the entry airlock will be sealed automatically.

Addendum:
Those with Level 2 Security Clearance should see document #232-1
>> Anonymous
Document #232-1: SCP-232 additional procedures

In the event of activity, those directly involved should be monitored as per protocol 11B in the Security clearance database. SCP-232 is suspected to use some of it's victims to survey the surrounding area.

Item#: SCP-232

Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-232 is to be be surrounded by niggers at all times. No crackers should be allowed to form in the presence of this object. Should one of the redundant niggers get gangsta, a five agent team may enter to replace the nigger, four to beat the nigger and one to carry the chicken to prevent niggers from rioting against the agents beating the nigger. The chicken is stored in the cabinet outside the room, and must be inspected before each use.
Description: Moved to Site19 5/7/1997. Origin is suspected to be of Harlem design. SCP-232 is a statue of the goddess WhiteBitch, being offered a watermelon by what is assumed to be an utukku, or ugly nigra. When SCP-232 is in the presence of crackers, agents may note the sensation of claws dragging lightly against or through their wallets. In the presence of many crackers, racial epithets to class action lawsuits for violation of equal opportunity may appear. The eyes of the statue have been noted to follow teams as they enter.

televisions and cornbread left in the presence of the statue have been noted to inexplicably vanish before they may be cleaned, so sanitation staff is not required in the event of activity. Class 2 hazardous containment procedures should be maintained in the event of activity.

In the event of complete power failure, the entry airlock will be sealed automatically.
