There was a good one yesterday about some triangular object that people had to take extreme measures to be completely protected from any sound around (to the point of a blank being fired behind them to see if they can hear it) because the object would speak to them. I'll try to find it.

Item#: SCP-086
Special containment procedures: Item SCP-086 is stored in a heavily soundproofed room, isolated from the rest of the facility by an airlock.
As there is some leakage from SCP-086, the surrounding area is also cordoned off. Object is currently safe, provided no unprotected personnel enter the containment zone, so handling instructions are only provided for the possibility of a security breach, or if needing to move SCP-086.
Unprotected personnel who enter the containment zone should be removed from the area as soon as possible. If they return, or show signs of being compromised by SCP-086, they must be terminated; warnings of these consequences must be displayed prominently around the containment zone.

Description: SCP-086 appears to be a regular tetrahedron approximately 25cm on each side. It constantly emits sounds
described as whispering by survivors of its effects, though in no known language.
These sounds are capable of a wide range of effects on humans, including the creation of psychosis or a mindlessly obedient state. Experiments to replicate its abilities by matching the generated frequencies, however, have failed.
All personnel who work with SCP-086 should, manpower permitting, be completely deaf. They are also required to equip provided ear defenders and an antisound generator. Before entering SCP-086's chamber, a supervisor should check that all agents are unable to hear sounds at approximately 140dB. The recommended method is to fire a blank behind them, and to watch for signs of surprise.
Agents entering the chamber should work in a group of five or more, and rehearse their actions in a separate, dummy chamber. Any deviation from this trial run in the real chamber is to be treated as a sign of falling under SCP-086's control, and if they do not heed signals to exit immediately, the agent should be terminated.

Additional notes:
Those with level 2 security clearance or above should also see document #86-1.

>>446386
Document #86-1: SCP-086 additional data

Anyone who has entered the containment zone should be watched very carefully; our data reports that most people are drawn in by the whispers, and those that aren't may be already under the Object's control and carrying out its will.

The equipment provided to the grunts includes an explosive charge in the headset, set to trigger if they are the last one left alive in the room. SCP-086 almost overwhelmed the lone deaf agent who prevented its escape in the first place, so personnel cannot be trusted if left alone with it. Object is capable of adapting its whispers to act through bodily vibrations, and can generate far stronger effects on a single target.

The explosive charge will destroy the brain and hearing system when triggered. No other form of termination will ensure SCP-086 cannot control what is left behind.

Another one I had saved:

Item#: SCP-232

Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-232 is to be kept lit at all times. No shadows should be allowed to form in the presence of this object. Should one of the redundant light bulbs burn out, a two agent team may enter to replace the bulb, one to change the bulb and one to carry the lamp to prevent shadows from occuring behind the agent changing the bulb. The lamp is stored in the cabinet outside the room, and must be inspected before each use.
Description: Moved to Site19 5/7/1997. Origin is suspected to be of Sumerian design. SCP-232 is a statue of the goddess Ereshkigal, being offered a liver by what is assumed to be an utukku, or Sumerian demon. When SCP-232 is in the presence of slight shadows, agents may note the sensation of claws dragging lightly against or through their skin. In the presence of heavy shadows, light scratches to deep gouges may appear. The eyes of the statue have been noted to follow teams as they enter.

Blood and viscera left in the presence of the statue have been noted to inexplicably vanish before they may be cleaned, so sanitation staff is not required in the event of activity. Class 2 hazardous containment procedures should be maintained in the event of activity.

In the event of complete power failure, the entry airlock will be sealed automatically.

Addendum:
Those with Level 2 Security Clearance should see document #232-1

Document #232-1: SCP-232 additional procedures

In the event of activity, those directly involved should be monitored as per protocol 11B in the Security clearance database. SCP-232 is suspected to use some of it's victims to survey the surrounding area.

Item#: SCP-088
Special containment procedures: Item SCP-088 Is stored in a circular 44 meter diameter by 44 meter high concrete walled chamber. in the center of the chamber is a pedistal, 22 meters high, 1 meter in diameter. Item SCP-088 is kept on this pedistal. The pedistal is ringed with a floor to ceiling chain link fence at a distance of 22 meters. In the event that personnel must enter the chamber, ONLY one person may enter, and the door to the chamber MUST be locked behind them. Personnel MUST not go past the chain link fence until the outer door to the chamber is sealed.

Item SCP-088 MAY NOT BE VIEWED DIRECTLY. Viewing item SCP-088 directly will enable it to consume the flesh of it's viewer. Personnel entering the chamber are required to be wearing equipment 449-B, a headset with a series of mirrors designed to bounce incoming light 7 times before it reaches the eye of the observer. Personnel must also wear protective hearing equipment to avoid the sound of air entering and leaving the opening of Item SCP-088. This is a constant behavior of this artifact, and it has been known to lure personnel to remove equipment 449-B. Personnel MUST be tethered to designated hardpoints on the outer wall of the test chamber before proceeding past the fence.

Personnel with clearance Gamma ARE REQUIRED to view historical document SCP-088-B.

Historical Document SCP-088-B

Item SCP-088 was recovered in 1877 from the remains of the top secret Bobkovitch Laboratory after it burnt to the ground. Item SCP-088 is identified as a glass culture tube, slightly deformed due to the fire, and discolored with stains.

After recovery, incident "viscera" occured, in which item SCP-088 "consumed" 1,398 human beings, and an unknown number of livestock in the surrounding town of Bobkovka, Russia. This incident to date has been kept as "never happened" status.

Item SCP-088 has a known "first victim" reach of 16.58322 meters in any direction. If SCP-088 manages to take a victim, it's reach is extended exponentially. To this date, livestock tests show that SCP-088 can have a reach of up to 3km, making use of only 12 simultaneous victims. Tests indicate SCP-088 is capable of extending this reach much further, although to this date none have been tried beyond 3km. The rate at which SCP-088 is able to kill, liquefy, and ingest it's victims is astonishing. 3km livestock tests consisting of 5000 animals were consumed by SCP-088 in under 30 seconds.

Also, here's scp 338

Item#: SCP-338

Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-338 consists of two parallel circular copper discs, 12 inches in diameter, separated by a 15 inch gap. They are arranged like the ends of a cylinder. The cannot be shifted with respect to each other - this has been tested via hydraulic rams up to 30 tons.

There is no solid material detectable within the gap.

Objects placed in the space between the discs for more than a few seconds are seen to "fade".
If the object is not removed from the gap, this "fading" is complete in approximately ten minutes, after which the objects are not detected by either instruments or the eye.

In 73% of such cases of fading, after a period of not less that 1.2 and not more than 5.0 hours, an artifact is seen to "fade in" within the gap.

These artifacts are very varied in their characteristics. Some appear to have machine qualities. Others appear partially self-aware for a short time. Most are less easy to classify.

These artifacts invariably crumble to dust within about 30 minutes, but what limited examination has been possible has shown them to have molecular structure which is highly unstable, and indeed seems impossible to form given the physical laws of our universe.

Advise further study. Recommend that agents not place any part of their body within the gap.
>> Smith !!UJTcIcNJYE3
Item#:SCP-051

Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-051 is kept on a small wooden table, tied down. Any personnel studying it are to maintain absolute silence while in its vicinity. Personnel are also advised to not look at the eye-holes for an extended amount of time.

Description: SCP-051 was put in the care of Site 34 in mid-1980. There is no viable theory toward its origin at this time. It is a 4’’ by 5’’ black-toned, apparently hand-painted ceramic mask. It is adorned with what seems to be 24 karat gold and two lavender ribbons. When approached by personnel, it reportedly speaks the names of the personnel, without said personnel’s name being mentioned near the mask beforehand.

The voice is different to every person; once out of the mask’s vicinity, each staff member has described a different voice. It does not move its mouth; it apparently speaks directly to one’s mind. Personnel are not to respond aloud to hearing their name spoken by a foreign voice. Any acknowledgment toward the mask, even indirectly, is followed by immediate death, either by lack of airflow, severe internal bleeding, etc. In one case, a researcher’s heart erupted from her chest.

Item #: SCP-530
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-530 is to be kept in a containment unit at all times. It is to be kept under constant surveillance by both armed guards and remote camera monitoring. If security is breached, proceed directly to lockdown level Delta.
Origin: SCP-530 was brought to Site 52 in 1987. Original origin is unknown, as is date of birth. SCP-530 is highly intelligent, and will often plead with the guards for release. Any movement of any guard towards SCP-530 constitutes a breach in security.

Any personnel in contact with SCP-530 must undergo one week quarantine after contact is terminated. Any abnormal behavior or changes persisting in personnel at the end of quarantine requires instant termination.

It is unknown how SCP-530 affects those in contact of it, however personnel report violent nightmares and often exhibit violent behavior towards themselves or others during quarantine.

Item#: SCP-314

Special Containment Procedures: Warehouse 19 and Site 47 have been built to house the object. All solid matter in 50 meters in any direction has destroyed by the object. No personel is allowed within the main chamber of Warehouse 19. Any lifeform seen within Warehouse 19 is to be terminated on sight, save personel stationed in the observation area on the northern side. THIS APPLIES TO ALL SECURITY LEVELS.

Description: Object's appearance changes rapidly and continously, but rarely deviates from the appearence of a roughly spherical series of regular three-dimensional shapes. Radius appears to fluxiate from roughly 14 meters to roughly 10 centimeters, although evidence suggests the outer radius has reached no less 68 meters. While object seems content to levitate above the center of the depression it has created it has been known to seek out all sources of motion within 40-50 meters of it's core. The method of detection is unknown. Individual sides of the regular geometrical fluxuations appear to be metallic and extremely sharp, believed to maintain this sharpness even if the edge itself is microscopic.

Additional Notes: While unconfirmed the edges of the object are believed to be of a sharpness measureible down to the atomic scale. Video recorded at "Event Zero" demonstrate the ability to cut through titanium vehicle armor, class 4 body armor, and human beings without any visible hesitation or signs of resistance. Initial appearence into Earth space is unknown, but information revealed by judicious application of Item#: SCP-497 reveal origin to be extra-dimensional. Theorized to be a mathimatical construct in nature, implications of this are unknown and unexplored at this time.

Item#: SCP-091
Special containment procedures: Item SCP-091 is stored in a modified subterranean arboretum.

Containment zone is to remain lighted at all times. Four hydrargyrum medium-arc iodide lamps are to be active from 00:00 GMT until 16:00, at which point they are to be deactivated in sequence as the corresponding eight sodium vapor lamps are activated until 00:00 GMT. Lights must be replaced at the approximate time of bulb half-life, and only during the artificial nocturnal cycle.

Soil levels are to be kept at approximately one meter depth and Ph levels are to be monitored daily for any irregularities. Provided compost is to be placed in the containment zone at the beginning of each lunar month. Compost is to be inspected before and after delivery by two senior ranking science officers to ensure safety procedures have been followed and to prevent any further containment issues caused by tampering. Provided compost is to be placed no closer than three meters from Item SCP-091. Under no circumstances should Item SCP-091 be touched. In such event, emergency defoliant protocols are to be followed and attending staff and all personal effects are to be immolated.

Containment area is lined with 15mm of lead. There is to be around the clock external monitoring for any breach of containment. In event of breach, emergency defoliant protocols are to be followed.

All male staff are to undergo weekly medical inspections. In the event of compromise, level four quarantine procedures are to be initiated. Compromised staff and all personal effects must be destroyed by complete immolation. Male staff are forbidden from entering the containment zone and are to be rotated on a quarterly basis, remaining in quarantine two weeks before and after assignment.

The first time I saw SCP (Months ago), the method was:
1)Find creepy image.
2)Imagine what horrible things it could do to this world.
3)Specify/Outline procedures to keep the depicted subject from leaving its enclosure and killing everything or whatever.

I miss the one about the statue with the damaged face that might approach personnel and beat them with its fists.
>> Anonymous
>>446751

Description: SCP-091 is, for all intents and purposes, a deciduous tree, approximately 4 meters in height with a variable of approximately +/-50 centimeters in synchronization with the lunar cycle.

Despite classification as plantlife, SCP-091 displays prominent feminine characteristics. Object is not known to move or grow on currently formulated compost diet unless in the presence of a male staff member.

SCP-091 has displayed no reproductive qualities in the form of fruit, flowering or seeds, as yet. Atmospheric and controlled physical analysis also confirms a lack of sori or air-borne spores.

SCP-091 has displayed infectious qualities in the past and should be treated as a Class VIII Biological Vector.

Officers with Level IV clearance should refer to Document SCP-091b for further data.

Fails for one reason: Logic

Alot of these state that the containment procedures require ARMED guards outside, indicating that the weapons would do something to it.

Now if these things were so dangerous that even approaching them provides a chance for insanity or death, and prolonged exposure requires you to be 'terminated", then why bother containing it at all? no real chance to study it, if the weapons will do something, destroy it, don't waste manpower guarding it in a specialized room that requires large amounts of funds to build and manpower to guard.

>>446832
err wasn't finished -- what i'm saying is creepypasta only works so long as it maintains an element of seriousness that makes it believable.

S'where the holders series went downhill, first one was creepy as hell as it was -possible-, as the series went on, you could start to tell the change in writers, and people started changing the conditions -- the numbers changed with almost every item, traps from old items were reused, a few of them broke consistency (the holder of the word or whatever -- everyone was randomly speaking in latin, whereas the rest were just incoherent screams and visions of horror) or tried to make themselves important (( Keeper of the start -- broke consistency with the "getting kicked out of the sanitarium", then proceeded to make itself important by stating that wihtout doing this first you wouldn't know the order, etc)

when you start ruining the consistency of them (which you guys haven't done yet), changing up the conditions (which also, have not done yet), or just start randomly breaking logic ((which you guys are doing with the afforementioned armed guards)), it causes the serious feel to fade, and the awesomeness of the creepypasta just fades.
>> Anonymous
>>446841
alot of them mention the armed guards being on the interior, not the exterior, meaning they'd have to already gotten in for them to matter, in which case they teleported or something, and guns are probably ineffective anyhow.

Still doesn't answer the question as to why they didn't just up and destroy them, if they can't make any use of them -- for instance #86, i'm sure a thermite charge would turn it into a nice puddle of liquid, yet they keep it there, despite it driving people going to do maintenance insane.
>> Anonymous
>>446856
I have to agree, some of these things it makes more sense if they just destroyed them. Not all of them mind you.

>>446789
For example hints at biological warfare applications.

>>446747
Hints that it can't be done sense it's made of math.

But some of these I respond in my head (Why not just blow the fucker up? The glass tube for example, or the mask.
>> Anonymous
>>446856

The reason they aren't destroyed is that these objects do things that are apparently impossible, and the government wants that power. That's the whole premise behind the SCP series: a shadowy government agency built on the idea that the cost in human life of containing these things and the risk to national security to keeping them keeping them around instead of destroying them is an acceptable price for the chance, one day, of being able to make use of them. It's one of the things that makes the SCP series so creepy, the objects themselves aren't just pools of shadow in our bright world, the fact of them being kept and studied at such a cost suggests that the world in general is a much darker place than we imagine.
>> Anonymous
>>446876

Good point re exploding the things, but you could argue that this is a research facility - they want to know HOW these things do what they do, just cos they're curious.
>> Anonymous
>>446856

the SCP series always reminds me of warehouse 23.
these objects are being stored/supressed/contained because they are too valuable(scientifically or millitarily speaking) to destroy, but are not curently understood well enough to make use of them.

imagine if you could have a small army of SCP-173 that you could control. the sheer level of destruction the SCP items could wreak if weaponized makes them worth protecting
>> Anonymous

Item#: SCP-133

Special containment procedures: Item SCP-133 should be stored within a lead lined box in a sealed, bomb resistant storage room at all times. The walls of this room should be no less than 4 feet thick, and should be clad in mirror polished steel both inside and out. Due to the nature of the item and its contents, absolutely no-one below security clearance level 4 is permitted within the storage room for any reason, and anyone below level 4 clearance attempting to gain access to SCP-133 is to be terminated.

Description: SCP-133 appears to be an unmarked shipping crate, unremarkable is every way. Contained within it, however, are several hundred rectangles of a waxy, paperlike material, folded in half. If unfolded, one side bears the legend "Stick on Hole" and the other, a black dot 22mm in diameter.

if the backing is placed against a solid surface printed side down, and rubbed, the hole will transfer to that surface. Our tests indicate SCP-133 is capable of penetrating 24" of structural grade titanium, but smooth or highly dense materials reduce its ability to penetrate. When applied to flesh, the results are devastating.

Item#: SCP-329
Special Containment Procedures: Bunker #5 - Section B has been modified to store Item SCP-329 effectively with 2 separate, airtight chambers. Bunker #5 - Section B location is currently classified to all unauthorised personal. Authorised personal must have access to CDoc-52 for location.
When handling item SCP-329, personal must wear a HAZMAT Suit. All HAZMAT suits must be airtight and equipped with oxygen tanks. Before entering, item SCP-329's cell, all 2-airlock chambers MUST be flooded with Chloroacetophenone gas. Flooding is controlled from Bunker #5 - Section A Terminal 4.
Description: Item SCP-329 was recovered in a small cavern in Arizona amongst a populated Native American campsite by now dead member of the Navaho tribe, Ben Stir. Upon recovering item SCP-329, Stir was found in a catatonic state before item SCP-329 was relocated to Bunker #5 - Section B.
Item SCP-329 resembles a 1.2x1.2 meter cube made of unknown mineral. From one side the top half of a sphere made of spongy material protrudes out. The sphere resembles a eye with brown iris and has a 1 m diameter. On the opposite side of the "eye" is a small hole 5mm in diameter. The "eye" is theorized to belong to a entity that is inside the cube. Standing within 3 meters of the "eye" induces a catatonic state in personal. Only when the eye is diluted does this effect not occur.
Additional Information: Item SCP-329 leaks a unknown substance [UnkS – 72] from a small hole on the opposite side of the "eye". Item SCP-329 must be moved to the clean chamber of the two chambers so that cleaning crew personnel can dispose of the unknown liquid. Protocol for cleaning crews in Bunker #5 - Section B can be found in PDoc-4992. Disposal generally takes up to 3 days.

Item#:SCP-529 "Josie"

Artifact is a small grey house cat resembling the siamese breed.

Parts of the animal to the rear of the end of the ribcage appear to be missing. The body terminates sharply as if sliced in two.

In spite of this, the animal has no health problems, and moves about as if its hindquarters were still in place. For example, walking takes place as usual, and some time after feeding the animal makes motions as if to void itself of waste matter.

The cross-section does not display the interior of the animal, but appears pure black to the eye, and absorbs all non-visible wavelengths of light. It is slightly yielding to the touch. Gentle stoking of this area sometimes yields a positive reaction (purring and so on) but more usually leads to the creature turning on the agent, claws at the ready.

It is NOT the case the hind regions are simply invisible - a cursory examination will show that there are NO hindquarters.

It has not been possible to determine the sex of the animal conclusively.

Special Containment Procedures: No special precautions have yet proven necessary. "Josie" is quite affectionate, and at this stage is free to move about the lower levels of the facility. Staff are not permitted to feed cheese to the animal - it will become distressed if not given additional cheese, and it is already too fat.

Item#: SCP-017

Special containment procedures: Item SCP-017 is contained in a fully and heavily lit room measuring 30' on all sides. The floor and walls of the room are semi-transparent and also lit from behind, as to render it nearly impossible for any object to cast a shadow when within the room.
SCP-017 often remains motionless in the far corner of the room, sitting on the floor, with its hands raised over its head in an apparent attempt to shield itself from the lights. 017 makes few other movements while the room is monitored or occupied.
Personnel entering the room are required to walk under extreme caution and only on designated "safe" squares when within the room, so as to minimize any possible cast shadows to a 20% or lower gradient.
Any shadow heavier than specified previously will result in SCP-017's immediate response to the shadow. Personnel entering the room are required to be wearing the designated reflective bodysuits in addition to shaving any visible hair and leaving any equipment not required outside of the room.

Subject #: SCP-441

Special containment procedures: Subject SCP-441 must at all times be stored in a room without reflective surfaces. The walls of this room should be no less than 10 feet thick, preferably reinforced concrete. Due to the hazardous nature of Subject #441 no personnel with less than level 3 clearance are to access its containment chamber and with in groups of no less than five. Protective visors, ID tags and all reflective items are to be removed before entering the containment cell.

Description: SCP-441 appears to be an intelligent silicon based life form, a "living statue", so to speak. It is animate and displays signs of sentience though has yet to respond to any attempts at communcation beyond turning to focus upon the source of the communication.

Subject #441 is tame and docile for the majority of the time. It does not object to attempts to touch it. However, if at any point it catches even the slightest glimpse of itself in a reflective surface, it flies into a destructive rage, displaying terrifying strength and speed. How Subject "sees" its reflection, given it has no eyes or visual facilities test have been able to determine or why it becomes so enraged upon sight of itself is as of yet unknown.

Origin: Found in Prague, surrounded by broken glass.

Description: SCP-017 appears as a vaguely humanoid figure, approximately 2' 6" in height (xx cm), and bearing a anatomical resemblance somewhat to that of a small child. 017 is completely pitch black over the course of its "body" with no discernible facial features, ears, eyes, genitals, or other identifying marks or characteristics. The entirety of 017's "body" is shrouded additionally in a shifting and smoke-like form of shadow, wavering over his body in the same way that an object at long distances in a desert is obscurred by refraction.
SCP-017's reaction to shadows within the confines of the room (which remain the known limits to his senses) is immediate and swift. 017 leaps at the object and only requires the slightest and briefest contact in order to effect it. The object touched is quickly enveloped in a shadowy substance identical to the substance surrounding (compromising?) 017's body and dissolves instantaneously into nothingness. No trace of the object remains after dissolution and 017 returns to its preferred spot in the corner of the room after any objects casting shadows have been destroyed.

Additional notes: Personnel with BETA clearance or higher should see also document #017-1.

Item#: SCP-254

Special Containment Procedures: SPC-254 should be handled with extreme care from a distance. Store under heavy compression at standard temperature, preferably in gallium or similar.

Description: Item SCP-254 is invisible to the naked eye. Magnetic resonance tests have shown that the basic shape of item SCP-254 is a perfect geometric sphere. It is believed that the item is the closest terrestrial equivalent to dark matter yet.

Item SCP-254 is to be kept under heavy compression at standard temperature in a room 16' by 16'. SPC 254 is believed to absorb objects that pass into it and recoup their general mass and shape into itself to grow bigger. It is drawn to objects with even the most minuscule mass. However, it cannot absorb elemental gallium, making it the most viable solution for storage.

All personnel planning to work on should be registered HP-29 hazard insured, and should, resources permitting, come no closer than 25 meters to SPC-254.
>> Anonymous
SPC-254 also shows some low level amounts of sentience. When given the choice between a magnetic resonance machine and a titanium block more massive than the MR machine, SPC-254 absorbed the MR machine. It seems to prioritize its victims with technology and other sentient creatures coming first. In another test, SPC-254 chose three dogs over a block of lead, and in another, two dogs over a MR machine.

Errata: 1. In all tests, SPC-254 absorbed both objects when given the chance.
2. It has come to our attention that SPC254 has been creating massively powerful outward bursts of energy. These energy bursts eradicate most solids they come in contact with. Recommend removal from facility and permanent storage under sea.
3. Relocation complete. Exact co-ordinates are under investigation, as it seems to have moved.

Item#: SCP-472

Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-472 may not leave Private Washington Jr’s house of occupation unless in a medical emergency. In the event of item SCP-472 needing medical attention, SCP-472 is to be transported too MEDI unit #5 at Base Weeper. Medical staff must not make contact with any machinery attached to item SCP-472, as the purpose of the mechanisms is not yet known. Item SCP-472 is to be fed on a regular bases and must not be neglected. All research taken on discovering item SCP-472 device are to be performed by Private Washington Jr inside his house of occupation.

Description: Item SCP-472 is a Mallard duck recovered during the American occupation of Korea on the 4th of February 1952 by Private Washington Jr. An unknown device is attached too Item SCP-472 on its hindquarters by 5 strips of steel and bolts. The device cannot be separated from the duck without destroying the device. The device resembles a distorted sphere and has a wire connecting to the neck of Item SCP-472 from it. It is unkown if the Korea is connected SCP-472 in any way. The duck is generally docile and harmless.

Additional Information: Private Washington Jr is the legal owner of Item SCP-472. Until the device is separated from the duck, both are to be considered Item SCP-472. Private Washington Jr reports updates on the nature of Item SCP-472, which can be view by accessing his Public Account on the SCP server.

Do more. How about one with a failed LHC-like experimental device which randomly spawns tiny black holes in its vicinity and therefore has to be suspended in mid-air in an airtight facility using magnetic fields? I'm not much of a writer.

Item#: SCP-314

Special Containment Procedures: Warehouse 19 and Site 47 have been built to house the object. All solid matter in 50 meters in any direction has been destroyed by the object. Any lifeform seen within Warehouse 19 is to be terminated on sight, save personel stationed in the observation area on the northern side. THIS APPLIES TO ALL SECURITY LEVELS.

Description: Object's appearance changes rapidly and continously, but rarely deviates from the appearence of a spherical series of regular three-dimensional shapes. Visual radius fluxiates from 14 meters to 10 centimeters, although evidence suggests the outer radius has reached 68 meters. While object seems content to levitate above the center of the depression it has created it has been known to seek out all sources of motion within 40-50 meters of it's core. Individual sides of the regular geometrical shapes appear to be metallic and extremely sharp, believed to maintain this sharpness even if the edge itself is microscopic.

Additional Notes: While unconfirmed the edges of the object are believed to be of a sharpness definied down to the atomic scale. Video recorded at "Event Zero" demonstrate the ability to cut through titanium vehicle armor, class 4 body armor, and human beings without any visible sign of resistance. Information revealed by judicious application of Item#: SCP-497 reveal origin to be extra-dimensional. Theorized to be a mathimatical construct in nature, implications of this are unknown and unexplored at this time.

Item#: SCP-497

Special Containment Procedures: Subject is considered annoying but mostly harmless. Allowed to wander freely throughout the base as long as he makes no attempts to leave. Appears for all intents and purposes to be a caucasian british man wearing quasi-futuristic clothing with a large H tattood on his forehead. Subject is believed to be a photon-based life-form and thus in his natural state completely intangible. Energy weapon 47-A is required to hinder him in any way but so far it's proven unessecary as his crippling need to be the center of attention has been all that was required to keep him on base. If personel can deal with his anal-attentiveness, cowardice, mysogyny, and severly inflated ego coupled with deep self-loathing they will find an incredible store of information.

Special Notes: We have no idea what "Smeghead" means but apperently it's an insult of high caliber.

Item# SCP-463

Special containment procedures: SCP-463 is held at Site GamaWest. Relocated after compromise of New York site in 2001. See document G-47 for manifest of relocations, sans SCP-026 that allegedly caused and was destroyed in the incident. Prior containment procedures of SCP-463 are maintained. Object SCP-463 kept under surveillance and security by plainclothes agents of at least Security Clearance Level 2 and a Myers-Kaufman Index of 4.5 or higher.

If any attempt is made to retrieve SCP-463 from it's enclosure, detain and harass. If detained subject is discovered to know the nature of SCP-463, proceed with termination protocols. As of the creation of this report, it is known that no intelligence about the existence of SCP-463 exists besides this document.

Description: SCP-463 appears to be a 1973 American penny. Analysis has shown that it is composed of an unknown alloy 1.5 times more dense than a standard penny of the same year.

SCP-463 is heavily scratched, tarnished, and corroded; but appears to be indestructible in Kranzinsky Tests. Any damage inflicted is slowly repaired while object is not under direct observation.
>> Anonymous
Immediate objects and lifeforms surrounding SCP-463 increase in performance, durability, and ability in subtle and varied manners. Agents transporting SCP-463 have reported experiences ranging from "feelings of peace and goodwill" to "escaping certain death" (Reports RX-0468983 through RX-0468995). Subjects knowing the true nature of SCP-463 did not receive these benefits, and in many cases an opposite outcome occurred.

These effects grow more noticeable and powerful over time. Source of SCP-463 was a model of health and could not be separated from SCP-463 without the aide of several outside sources.

Additional notes:
Current containment location trials successful as hypothesized. Every company residing in the site continues to report increasingly successful numbers. Workers in the building have lower rates of illness than average, and report a higher percentage of satisfaction with life than average. Agents having accessed information about SCP-463 at site report no significant changes.

Item#:SCP-782

This item is the remains of the Quadrapole Mass Collider.

It was constructed from part of the engine core of SCP-636. Improvised exchanges of mathematics conducted with the occupant of SCP-636 enabled partial repairs to be performed on the core. It became clear that the core was involved in performing the spatial topology modification associated with the operation of SCP-636. However the occupant did not survive long enough for full understanding of the core to be achieved.

Details of the construction of the collider and the events surrounding its activation are covered more fully in Document #44-1.

In short, the collider was activated, but its operation was only a partial success. It constantly generates geometric and topological anomalies, mostly nuclear-scale black holes. These evaporate within a seconds, and are the source of the violent radiation emitted by the device. In addition, the device generates cosmic string type structures, magnetic monopoles, and occasionally very short lived wormholes. These latter were of course the primary goal during the planning phase, however as yet no stable traversable wormholes have been seen.

SCP-782 is magnetically suspended in an evacuated concrete chamber of 20 metres radius. Matter of any sort entering this region is rapidly torn apart to the sub-atomic level by the stream of spatial anomalies.

As expected, the device draws its own power from a built-in nanoscale structure, which is believed to tap in to the zero-point energy of the vacuum. This has meant that it has not been possible to deactivate the device.
