LSD: Dream Simulator Anonymous
LSD is a video game released in Japan in 1998 for the Sony PlayStation video game console and is one of three products (the others being a music CD and a book) based on a diary of dreams that a staff member at Asmik Ace Entertainment had been keeping for a decade. It has a small cult following and is recognized as being genuinely disturbing at times.

In this game, the player simply navigates a dream world. There is no action or experience points, nor is there any clear goal. The idea is simply to walk around and enjoy things in a dream environment. There are many bizarre environments in this world, and one way to travel through them is by foot. However, if you bump into walls or other objects in the game, you will be instantaneously transported to another environment, the system of which is called "linking". Bumping into people, animals, or special objects usually gives a stranger dream.

Each dream lasts 10 minutes, and the player wakes up automatically from the dream at that time. However, if the player falls off a cliff in the dream, then the player may wake up immediately. There is also a graph that appears at the end of each dream that keeps track of the player's state of mind. Depending on that state, the next dream may start differently.

While you walk through an environment, the surroundings may suddenly change. For example, eyes may suddenly appear all over a wall and stare at you. Even if you visit the same place twice, it may look quite different. You may also encounter very strange creatures while roaming around, including a celestial nymph flying through the air, a wild horse running through the prairie, or a huge man filling up an entire room.

The number of "days" are kept track of. As you progress, the pattern on walls and the form of the player may transmute. Occasionally the player may come across a man in a suit and hat. He is possibly the only thing resembling an antagonist, and erases the memory of the dream.

It's a pretty large file, so it will might take a long time to download.

In case you didn't know, you'll need winrar to extract it, but you probably know that. Just making sure.
http://www.rarsoft.com/download.htm

You'll also need to use a playstation emulator.
http://www.mediafire.com/?knxjdv2dxz0

It should be working, but if it says something about a "bios" file, just use the file in the folder in the emulator folder called BIOS.

All you need to do then is drag the bigger file from the LSD folder onto the emulator, and you'll be playing.

if you want to change the controls, just go to file>configure>controllers

Doesn't work, and your instructions are kinda lame...

When it asks about BIOS, there are about a dozen different files in the BIOS folder...

You say to drag the bigger file from the LSD folder to the emulator, but there's only one file, it's a VLC file, and dragging it over doesn't work.

Ok, since half of you don't know what the hell you're talking about, I'll help those still unable to work with this.

First, when it asks for the BIOS, go to the BIOS folder and select SCPH1001 (The text file does nothing and the other files usually result in the program crashing). Second, "dragging and dropping" doesn't do shit and I don't know where that came from. Go to file, Insert CD image, and select the larger file. Note that there ISN'T a second file in the first offered DL (guy's a tard), so look for the second one in the topic.

I was just chilling, hitting some walls, and then I see those two sumo guys fighting.

"Heh, I'll hit them and see what happens"

After I touch the ring, I'm in this eerie red tunnel. I turn my head, trying to see the sumo ring, and then I saw a fucking sumo baby. It turns itself, stares me for a moment, and rushs towards me. I push backwards as hard as I can, since there's no time to turn. The fat baby is fast, and I'm sitting on a pile of bricks already.

"It's over, I'm finished."

I stop. It runs over me. I turn my head, surprised to be alive, and I watch the fat baby while it runs into a wall, never to be found again. Shivers. I run away, and the dream eventually ends. I save my game, and close the emulator.

Seconds later, I can hear the game music playing again. Shivers.

I closed the emulator with the X button, and it doesn't stop working that way :\

Get winrar

Download this http://www.miriscusltd.com/LSD.rar
And this http://www.mediafire.com/?knxjdv2dxz0

The first link is the game, the second is the playstation emulator. When all of them are downloaded, your playstation emulator thing might say that its missing a .dll file, if so, download here http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?d3dx9_26
And put it in the playstation folder

Then it should be good to go, but to play the game go to File --> Insert CD image and select the LSD game, it SHOULD work then.

Sorry if the instructions were a little sketchy
