Dear, my fellow /x/philes what do you think of the SCP series. I think it is creative and sometimes interesting, but sometimes the lack of creativity makes Dragonforce jealous.

There's a whole collection of 'em on this site.

But yeah, some of 'em are really clichéd, but the good ones make up for it.

I read a few of the first ones, was mildly impressed by the photography and some of the concepts seemed kinda neat. As I scrolled further down, the writing got worse and worse, and even juvenile at some points. The photos ceased to be cool--most are pictures of everyday objects accompanied by some ludicrous exposition--this bag EATS things, or OH, can't forget "THE WORST THING IN THE WORLD," which happens to be contained in a porta-potty. The blackouts and ACCESS DENIED things are pretty fucking lame too, bargain basement X-Files.

I actually liked this one though, SCP-097: NEGRO BANK.

Yes, yes, RACISM LOL, but past that, the bank actually looks quite malevolent, and the backstory isn't too bad. Respectfully subdued, not too crazy over-the-top.
