So /x/, for the past couple of days, my cellphone has been ringing. The odd part is that it's my old one; which currently has no battery, no sim card, nothing in it. All logic tells me that it just should not work. I've been too chickenshit to pick it up most of the time, and the one time when I worked up the nerve, there was no one on the other line. What the fuck /x/, what do I do?

Destroy it. Destroy it and wall this event off from the rest of your memories, from your mind.

This is what memory repressing is for.

Pick it up the next time it wrings.

If no one is there again, it's either because you're going insane, your ears are tricking you, or someone from the after life/someone who is dead is trying to contact you.

It's not that I'm hearing things. The lights on it go off too. :<

I asked my mom about this and she's convinced that it's my grandfather, whose birthday would be around this time.

I hate you. That picture kills me every time. Ugh.

Hmmm. An old phone you say?
Your small backup batttery, built in to preserve the memory (addresses, etc.) in case you pull the main battery out, is short circuiting and causing it to ring at odd intervals.
That or Morpheus is calling you and wondering why you won't pick up the fucking phone.

Really? Is there a way I can pull that out? Just to make sure 100 percent?

Pick it up. If you hear a clicking sound, run until you find another person. Do not be alone or asleep for 24 hours.

Small screwdriver and some time.
If you don't want the phone again and can't be fucked to poke around for a little watch battery just stomp on it or rip all the wires out.

No. Is it the same situation? Should I know what happened at the end?

>>862198
I'm going to google up how to take it out. And uh. If shit keeps happening, I'll keep you updated?

one missed call is a movie about people that hear their death happening over their cell phone. or someone else die. the best thing to do is not to answer it and to discard it, give it to SCP or something. obliterate it with a hammer and never get another cellphone
