/x/ recently, I found cigarette ash in my basement toilet and no one in my house smokes. I've lived in this house for almost a year now and when I moved in I remembered that bathroom specifically smelling like cigarette smoke but not the whole basement. I also recall seeing ash multiple times but I never really thought about it so I just flushed it.

what could it be?
